Lecture Series and Advice on Pensions
In cooperation with the German Pension Insurance, PEBA offers consultation days at KIT, which you can use for your private pension issues.
The consultations are conducted by a consultant from the German Pension Insurance Baden-Württemberg. The offer is aimed at all KIT employees (also with a partner if required). We offer two types of pension advice:
1. Individual Consultation Appointments - Statutory Pension
These pension consultations are particularly suitable for people approaching retirement (aged 50 and over), specific questions about the statutory pension and for younger employees to clarify their accounts.

Duration of the consultation: 30 minutes

On the premises of Personnel Development and Vocational Training (PEBA):
Alternately at Campus South and Campus North

You are welcome to register on a waiting list. To do so, please send an e-mail with the subject "Pension consultation" to rentenberatung∂peba.kit.edu.
2. Individual Consultation Appointments - Retirement Provision (PROSA)
These pension consultations are suitable for questions relating to old-age provision. During the appointment, an advisor from Deutsche Rentenversicherung will analyze your personal pension situation (statutory and private) and provide advice. The consultations are free of charge, provider-neutral and independent.

3. Advisory Services Offered by VBL
If you have had one of the individual consultations mentioned above, PEBA also offers consultation appointments on VBL supplementary insurance at regular intervals. To register for this, please send an e-mail to rentenberatung∂peba.kit.edu with the subject "VBL consultation". It is also possible to contact VBL directly:

4. Lecture Series on Pensions
- PEBA will be starting another series of lectures on pensions and VBL supplementary insurance from October 2023. The current dates will be announced via the calendar of events .
- The VBL also offers webcasts for insured persons, which you can attend free of charge. The webcasts are offered monthly.
